Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Strategic Sales Leader with a robust engineering background to join our esteemed organization. With over 60 years of excellence in the industry, we are poised to leverage our extensive capabilities in onsite machinery and services, including CNC Milling and Turning, Laser Cutting, Welding, Fabrication, and Press Brake. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in the fabrication and machining sectors and will be adept at crafting and implementing a comprehensive Sales Strategy utilizing their industry expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate a strategic sales plan that delineates clear, time-bound SMART objectives aimed at achieving sales targets.
- Utilize industry insights to build a robust sales pipeline and foster both existing and new industry relationships to drive sustainable sales growth.
- Comprehend the unique selling propositions (USPs) of the business and its operational capacity to ensure client satisfaction and establish realistic service level agreements (SLAs).
- Employ effective marketing strategies to enhance market visibility and stimulate sales.
- Provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) as agreed upon.
- Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate a seamless sales process for both clients and internal teams.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients to ensure retention and satisfaction.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive sales pipeline.
- Participate in trade shows and exhibitions, engaging in networking and delivering compelling presentations about the company.
- Identify opportunities within the industry to generate leads effectively.
- A solid engineering background is essential to ensure a thorough technical understanding of products and processes, with experience in fabrication and machining being highly desirable.
- A proven track record in a similar role, with a minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills, coupled with a strong drive for new business development.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence in presenting to clients.
- Self-motivated and capable of directing personal initiatives while executing tasks independently, with internal support available.
This position is office-based, requiring onsite presence from Monday to Friday. The role offers a competitive salary along with a car allowance and additional benefits to be discussed during the interview process.
