About the Role

Caterpillar is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Project Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improvement through strategic project management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the management of multiple, related high-priority and/or high-risk projects
  • Lead project teams to deliver complex business, integration, implementation projects, and continuous improvement/lean efforts
  • Apply program and project management principles to manage scope, timeline, resources, stakeholders, and risk throughout the lifecycle of strategic initiatives
  • Lead high-priority projects to achieve measurable business process improvements
  • Provide technical training and guidance for continuous improvement on the planning, development, and implementation of process improvement
  • Utilize facilitation and consultancy skills to assist leaders in identifying growth opportunities and planning strategically
Requirements
  • Previous experience supporting and managing projects in Finance, Credit, and operations
  • Strong ability to lead a project and a group of SMEs, actively participate in project work, and support in the requirements for delivery/implementation
  • 6 Sigma background
  • Project Management Professional certification (PMP)
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary: £60,433 - £78,563
  • Permanent contract
  • Full-time 37.5 hours, hybrid working with 3 days a week in the office
  • 24 days annual leave increasing with service to 30 days
