About the Role
AXA is experiencing significant growth within its Commercial division, particularly in the South West and Wales regions. We are seeking to enhance our team by introducing two new Property and Casualty Underwriters. These positions offer a unique opportunity to establish foundational elements that will influence AXA's future trajectory.
The roles involve numerous opportunities to contribute to the success of branch accounts while ensuring excellence in customer service. Our team prioritizes collaboration, fostering strong relationships with brokers and business developers aligned with our panel.

As a Commercial Underwriter, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our partnerships with brokers through adaptable and collaborative relationships. You will leverage your technical and trading skills to make informed decisions, supported by data and analytical tools. Your focus will be on driving profitable growth across both new and existing business within key markets.
Underwrite Property & Casualty business profitably, adhering to established underwriting standards and utilizing a comprehensive range of tools. Establish yourself as a trading authority among intermediaries, reinforcing confidence in our branch's capabilities through engagement with our Underwriting Technical Centre.About You

Analytical skills with experience in account monitoring and strategic planning. Background in a commercial underwriting environment, preferably with mid-market experience.Additional Information:
Candidates must be eligible and authorized to work in the United Kingdom. This role is classified under the Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD), which requires background screening every four years and an annual declaration in interim years.
