The Role

We are seeking a talented lawyer to join our Property & Casualty team in Bristol. As a Property Insurance Associate, you will play a key role in managing a caseload of property insurance claims, including coverage and/or fraud and/or subrogated recovery claims.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of property insurance claims, including coverage and/or fraud and/or subrogated recovery claims
  • Assist senior team members on coverage and recovery claims
  • Deliver high-quality and timely output to clients, ensuring high levels of client service and alignment with agreed working practices and client service level agreements
  • Work to develop an environment of constant improvement, enthusiastically sharing with and helping others, and taking responsibility for aspects of team development
  • Capture and collate required Management Information in accordance with agreed practice for clients
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the team's service, support, processes, and procedures
  • Demonstrate the values and behaviors for which the team is known and keep it client-focused
  • Attend client events and/or travel, principally to London

Requirements

  • Circa 1-year PQE or equivalent qualifying experience
  • A strong grounding in property insurance, including coverage and fraud issues
  • Delivers legal and commercial solutions and establishes collaborative working relationships with clients and colleagues to provide an outstanding client experience
  • Committed to business development to further grow your network and the practice
  • Works efficiently and commercially and understands the importance of financial hygiene
