About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Transformation Planning and Readiness function, ensuring the successful coordination and delivery of our significant portfolio of initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Transformation Schedule, informed by dependencies, inflight & planned change initiatives, release management, operational capacity to support and absorb change, third party delivery plans, regulatory commitments, and other corporate initiatives.
  • Establish planning standards across our business, ensuring actual delivery aligns with the agreed schedule and addressing divergence where necessary.
  • Enhance and maintain our business readiness mechanisms, ensuring we are well-prepared for change.
  • Build on and enhance how we engage and plan for Subject Matter Expert (SME) engagement into our initiatives.
  • Establish a quarterly process to review and adjust our agenda as needed.
  • Articulate plans and roadmaps in a clear, concise, and executive-friendly manner.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in planning and scheduling, with a strong understanding of industry-standard methodology.
  • A pragmatist with a strong discipline and ability to navigate complex, interrelated portfolios.
  • Successful delivery of change in a sophisticated business environment.
  • Exceptional partner management skills, coupled with senior-level influencing, relationship management, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary, with London salary Circa £140,000 and National salary Circa £120,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
  • Bonus opportunity - 25% of annual salary (Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's).
  • Generous pension scheme - Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in.
