Job Title: Consultant Practitioner

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of clinical expertise and leadership skills. As a Consultant Practitioner, you will be responsible for ensuring effective senior clinical leadership and clinical excellence within the organization's delivery of urgent and emergency care.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Reporting directly to the Deputy Clinical Director, you will be responsible for ensuring clinically effective delivery of care to all patients presenting to the organization.
  • You will act as an advocate for the profession and its ability to provide high-quality clinical care for all patient groups.
  • You will work in collaboration with the Trust management teams to ensure clinically effective delivery of care.

Requirements:
  • A Master's degree in a professionally related subject, and/or equivalent significant experience of working at a senior level in a specialist area.
  • Post graduate teaching qualification, or experience of providing education at this level in healthcare.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of prehospital care practice, and particularly in NHS ambulance services, acquired through experience and training, plus further specialist knowledge or experience to Master's level equivalent.
