About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Nurse to join our team as a Senior Clinical Practitioner in the Specialist Older Adults Mental Health (SOAMHS) Service. This is an exciting opportunity to provide clinical leadership and work therapeutically with older patients in their mental health recovery in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership to the SOAMHS service and deputise for the team Manager with the day-to-day running of the service.
  • Ensure that patients receive assessment and therapeutic intervention to maximise their independence, safety, and wellbeing.
  • Work closely with patients, carers, statutory and voluntary agencies, within a multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements

  • Registered Practitioner (nursing) appropriate to the job role.
  • Extensive post-qualifying experience in relevant service area.
  • Experience of supervising staff and students.
  • Experience of managing clinical risks with complex cases.
