About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our team at Accountable Recruitment. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in driving profitable growth and supporting the development of business-wide strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Insights and Analysis: Provide market insights, analyze revenue trends, and quantify P&L impacts to inform business decisions.
  • Business Performance Assessment: Use management information systems to assess business performance, identify areas for improvement, and support profitability and strategy.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage senior stakeholders both internally and externally across the wider business, challenging the management team on performance and offering corrective action insights.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and provide analytical support for projects and investments.
  • Investment Opportunities: Analyze investment opportunities and support acquisition transitions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with Business Development Managers on loan guarantee scheme proposals and maintain focus on profitable margins and costs.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a commercial finance role, with a strong understanding of business finance and strategy.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
