Commercial Finance Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our client's team in Runcorn. As a key member of the organization, you will play a crucial role in driving profitable growth, analyzing business performance, and supporting the development of business-wide strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Performance Analysis: Utilize management information systems to assess business performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide insights to support profitability and strategy.
- Strategic Support: Collaborate with the Management Team to develop and implement business-wide strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and provide analytical support for projects and investments, ensuring accurate financial projections and informed decision-making.
- Investment Analysis: Analyze investment opportunities and support acquisition transitions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk management.
- Loan Guarantee Scheme Support: Collaborate with Business Development Managers on loan guarantee scheme proposals, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Operational Efficiency: Maintain focus on profitable margins and costs, while generating ad hoc management information to support business decisions.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Commercial Finance Business Partner or similar role, with a strong understanding of financial management and business operations.
- Project Management: Project management skills or qualifications, with the ability to lead and coordinate projects effectively.
- Business Case Development: Experience in building sound business cases, with the ability to analyze complex data and present findings to stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Proven experience in performing root cause analysis, developing, and implementing process improvements and robust controls.
