Internal Sales Opportunity

A fantastic chance has arisen for an experienced sales professional to join our growing industrial production company based in the UK.

The purpose of the role is to develop an existing sales area, offering excellent customer service and the ability to retain business.

The role is based within a busy family-run business, offering free on-site parking, up to 25 days' holiday, and a pension scheme.

Main duties will include:

  • Quoting customers, chasing quotations, and converting these into orders.
  • Developing the existing sales area, prospecting new customers, and re-visiting stagnant customers. Promoting the company's services and encouraging business growth.
  • Working on UK sales, negotiating with customers to win orders.
  • Securing strong relationships with key customers and suppliers.

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

  • Customer service experience.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Ability to operate as part of a wider team, working effectively across departmental boundaries and with external business partners.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow volumes to meet deadlines.
  • Strong sales skills, with experience of cold calling and contacting customers via telephone.
  • Confident communicator.
  • Experience in the steel industry would be advantageous but not essential.

Working Hours, Salary, Benefits:

  • Monday to Friday, 9am to 4:30pm.
  • Pension.
  • Free parking.
