Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager/Shift Manager to join our team at Primary Care 24. As a key member of our operational team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our Primary Care Hub service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Hub Managers in overseeing the safe and efficient day-to-day operational delivery of our Primary Care Hub service.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all queries, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that patient needs are met.
  • Collaborate with Operational Managers to ensure high standards of patient care are maintained, in line with Key Performance Indicators.
  • Develop and implement solutions to operational challenges, demonstrating a creative and proactive approach.
  • Provide flexible and adaptable support to the team, responding to changing operational requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of operational management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a creative and solution-focused approach.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work varied shifts and respond to changing operational requirements.
