Lead Solutions Architect

Munich Re Specialty Group, a prominent player in the re-insurance and specialty insurance sectors, is on the lookout for a Lead Solutions Architect to enhance their dynamic IT division. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in overseeing, designing, and sustaining technical and data frameworks that facilitate system architecture and development. Collaborating closely with product stakeholders, architectural teams, and development leaders, you will ensure that the strategic vision for the platform is realized using cutting-edge technology stacks. Furthermore, you will assess and integrate emerging technologies to maintain a competitive advantage in digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish a robust foundation for the Informatica Platform across both Azure and on-premise data environments.
  • Advance cloud data integration capabilities and steer the transition towards a multi-cloud architecture.
  • Enforce security and compliance measures within the platform.
  • Advise projects on the effective utilization of the data management platform.
  • Collaborate with data solution architects and engineers to ensure adherence to established standards and guidelines.
  • Support strategic technology investments aligned with enterprise architecture goals.
  • Identify and implement automation initiatives to enhance platform efficiency.
  • Facilitate technical discussions with stakeholders and external service providers.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture, integration, or governance.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture, particularly with Azure technologies.
  • Experience with Informatica products and cloud data solutions.
  • Proven track record of successful implementations in data architecture.
  • Consulting experience with a collaborative approach.
  • Ability to lead and manage development and operations teams effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the capability to engage with senior leadership.
  • Willingness to travel as required for business purposes.
