About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sister/Charge Nurse to join our Pre-Operative Assessment team at Fitzwilliam Hospital. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality individualized patient care and contributing to the delivery of a safe and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing pre-operative assessment
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify potential risks and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety
Requirements
  • Registered with the NMC
  • Registered nursing qualification or equivalent
  • Recent post-qualification surgical experience
  • Experience of a team approach to care delivery
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business
  • Demonstrated Customer Service skills
  • Demonstrated Computer Skills
