The Role
We are currently seeking a Production Manager to oversee operations at our Super Quarry Torr Works. In this pivotal role, you will manage a substantial team at this expansive limestone quarry, taking charge of the development, extraction, and operational processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as 8.1d in the presence of the quarry manager, and as 8.1c in their absence, utilizing available 8.1d relief to maintain statutory presence.
- Fostering a safe and sustainable working environment.
- Ensuring the financial performance of the site aligns with budgetary expectations, implementing processes for accurate financial reporting.
- Enforcing compliance with the company's health and safety regulations, quality assurance, and environmental policies.
- Strategically managing quarry operations in accordance with geotechnical assessments and quarry design plans.
- Knowledgeable in Quarry Regulations, Statutory Health & Safety, and Employment legislation.
- A proven leader with the ability to mentor and develop a talented onsite team.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organized with strong planning and execution skills.
- Understanding of financial management and budgetary responsibilities.
