Decimo is a renowned restaurant located on the 10th floor of The Standard London, offering an exceptional dining experience with a focus on Spanish-Mexican cuisine. As a Host at Decimo, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides outstanding service to our guests.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Host to join our team at Decimo. As a Host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience from arrival to departure. You will be the first point of contact for our guests, meeting them on arrival and escorting them to their tables, while also being on hand to deal with their queries and provide information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience from arrival to departure.
  • Meet guests on arrival and escort them to their tables, while also being on hand to deal with their queries and provide information.
  • Manage guest lists, table return times, and flow of guests into and out of the restaurant.
  • Work closely with the restaurant team to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
  • Be highly social, motivated, and proactive, acting with professionalism and positivity in all interactions.
  • Have prior experience as a Host or Restaurant Receptionist, ideally gained in a similar busy restaurant, 'Lifestyle' boutique hotel or restaurant pop-up.
  • Be confident in restaurant and bar operations and service, with a passion for food and drinks.
  • Be available full-time with full flexibility to work Tuesday - Saturday.

  • Prior experience as a Host or Restaurant Receptionist.
  • Highly social, motivated, and proactive.
