Decimo, a renowned restaurant located on the 10th floor of The Standard, London, offers an unparalleled dining experience. Our culinary team, led by acclaimed chef Peter Sanchez-Iglesias, serves a unique blend of Spanish and Mexican cuisine in a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere.

Your Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Host to join our team at Decimo. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements, ensuring efficient use of space.
  • Assist with table management, including taking orders and serving food and beverages.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about our menu, drinks, and services to make informed recommendations to guests.
  • Work collaboratively with the restaurant team to ensure excellent service standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Host or Restaurant Receptionist in a similar environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of OpenTable and epos systems.
  • Availability to work full-time, with flexibility to work Tuesday-Saturday.
