Reed Accountancy is seeking a skilled Purchase Ledger professional to join our team in Teesside. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a challenging role and contribute to the growth and success of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and code high-volume Purchase Orders
  • Match, nominal code, and post high-volume Purchase Ledger Invoices
  • Raise queries with relevant teams to ensure efficient issue resolution
  • Ensure purchase ledger processing is up-to-date, with daily, weekly, and monthly tasks as required
  • Manage supplier reconciliations and invoice receipt and posting
  • Coordinate payment dates for supplier invoices to support client payment runs and cash flow
  • Communicate regularly with clients on supplier and invoice-related issues
  • Manage CIS processing and submissions for subcontractor invoices
  • Continuously improve and develop existing workflows
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Sage 50 is essential
  • Knowledge of Xero is beneficial
  • Experience working in a busy Purchase Ledger environment is required
  • Ability to complete the full Purchase Ledger process confidently and independently
  • Motivated and hardworking individual with a strong sense of responsibility
