We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team at Rotherham Hospital. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake advanced clinical assessments, initiate investigations, and interpret results to determine clinical diagnosis and initiate treatment.
- Conduct advanced health assessments and clinical examinations of patients with complex presentations, making clinical decisions based on these assessments.
- Work independently to advise and recommend treatment for patients using clinical judgment and decision-making skills, in accordance with local, regional, and national policies and guidelines.
- Collaborate with other clinical teams to improve the quality of healthcare, responding to local and national policies and initiatives as appropriate.
- Current Professional NMC/HCPC Registration
- Degree-level Qualification
- Teaching/Mentorship Qualification
- Qualified in Non-Medical Prescribing (v300)
- MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent
- Current Advanced Life Support Qualification (Essential if Inpatient or UECC ACP, Desirable if Community or non-inpatient ACP)
- Evidence of Ongoing Professional Development
- Portfolio evidencing competency as an ACP
- Experience in a senior post
- Experience in multi-disciplinary staff working
- Experience of working with acutely ill patients
- Experience of working independently
- Experience in education of staff
