About the Role

The Advanced Clinical Practitioner will provide clinical expertise, leadership, consultancy, and collaborations to ensure that patients gain effective, appropriate, and timely care.

Main Responsibilities

  • Undertake advanced clinical assessment, initiate investigations, and interpret results to determine clinical diagnosis and initiate treatment.
  • Organize the clinical management of individual patients using highly developed expert clinical knowledge and advanced skills.
  • Conduct advanced health assessments and clinical examinations of patients with highly complex presentations and make clinical decisions based on these assessments.
  • Work unsupervised to advise and recommend treatment for patients using clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Collaborate with other clinical teams to improve the quality of healthcare and respond to local and national policies and initiatives.

What You'll Need

  • Current Professional NMC/HCPC Registration
  • Degree-level Qualification
  • Teaching/Mentorship Qualification
  • Qualified in Non-Medical Prescribing (v300)
  • MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent
  • Current Advanced Life Support Qualification
  • Evidence of Ongoing Professional Development
