About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients in unscheduled care settings. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients with complex presentations, using your advanced clinical knowledge and skills to make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Work autonomously to assess and manage patients with complex presentations
- Collaborate with other clinical teams to improve the quality of healthcare
- Support and participate in shared learning across the division and trust
- Assess the impact of policy implementation on care delivery
- Recognize and work within own competency and professional code of conduct
- Produce accurate, contemporaneous, and complete records of patient consultation
- Assess effectiveness of care delivery through self and peer review, benchmarking, and formal audit and evaluation
Requirements
- NMC Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Allied Health Care Professional
- Level 7 Masters degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent clinical masters degree
- Advanced Life Support (provider) qualification
- Evidence of CPD relevant to unscheduled/emergency care
- Independent prescribing qualification
- Teaching qualification
- Paediatric Advanced Life Support qualification
- Instructor status for RCUK courses
- Leadership qualification
