Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Configuration Centre Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Configuration Centre, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities- Personnel Management: Supervise and manage a team of technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest standard, and identify areas for improvement.
- Task Assignment: Work with the Configuration Centre Manager to assign tasks to technicians, ensuring that all deadlines are met and that the team is working efficiently.
- Dispatch Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with task dispatch, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.
- Stock Management: Manage stock movements and adjustments, ensuring that all stock is accurately recorded and that any discrepancies are investigated and resolved.
- Liaison with Warehouse: Act as the primary point of contact between the Configuration Centre and the Warehouse, ensuring that all stock is accurately recorded and that any issues are resolved promptly.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to processes and procedures to ensure that the Configuration Centre is operating efficiently and effectively.
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of IT services and technical operations.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of wireless technologies and general wireless principles.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Organisation Skills: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, with a flexible and proactive approach to work.
