Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Watford House Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Empower residents to maintain their independence by assisting with daily routines and promoting positive choices.
- Deliver personalized care and support to each resident, following their individual care plan and addressing their unique needs.
- Monitor residents' health and wellbeing, communicating concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager and providing support with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals.
- Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident, ensuring they feel valued and cared for in every interaction.
- Encourage social interactions among residents and with staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
- Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces, responding quickly to emergencies or call bells.
- Assist residents who need extra help with eating and drinking, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
- Qualifications: SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred.
- Experience: Ideally, you have at least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant, but we welcome those with a passion for care and transferable skills.
- Passion: You're genuinely interested in caring for the elderly and committed to delivering excellent service.
- Values: You bring integrity, respect, and a strong sense of teamwork to everything you do.
