We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Management Manager to join our team at CaterShaw Recruitment. As a Property Management Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of property managers and ensuring the smooth operation of our residential lettings business.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Lead daily meetings with the property management team, coach team members to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs), and monitor and assess individual team member performance.
- Property Management: Ensure the business is risk-averse and follows the highest compliance standards for all regulatory bodies, book and conduct property inspections, administer new tenancy agreements or tenancy extensions/renewals, and coordinate with contractors in regard to maintenance and/or repair requirements.
- Tenant Management: Manage tenancy deposits, discuss and resolve rental arrear queries, process eviction requests in accordance with the necessary legal requirements, and ensure all properties meet current regulatory health and safety standards.
- Communication: Liaise with landlords and tenants to ensure all their needs are met, facilitate tenants' moving-in day (check-in) and moving-out/contract end date (check-out) procedures, and complete Section 21 notices and other legislative documentation as required.
- Qualifications: Hold an ARLA 3 qualification and have a full UK driving license for a manual vehicle.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience as a property manager within residential lettings.
- Skills: Strong understanding of current legislation related to property management, ability to manage time-sensitive and high-volume workloads, reputation for delivering outstanding customer service, and ability to work under own initiative.
