Quantity Surveyor

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Infrastructure team at Sir Robert McAlpine, based in the UK. The successful candidate will work on a 17-year framework, managing commercial aspects of civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement, tendering, contract administration, variations, and management of subcontract work packages through to final account.
- Collaborate with the team to minimize risk, cost, and maximize value by cost checking and analysis of labour, plant, and materials.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree in BSc Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management or equivalent experience/memberships.
- Experience working on multi-million civil engineering projects, ideally in the nuclear sector.
- NEC contract experience, preferably NEC 4.
- Experience with electronic contract administration tools.
