Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Contract Management Professional to oversee the Integrated Asset Care Contract at Sellafield. This 4+1 year & £250M framework involves mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering projects, ranging from hundreds to several million pounds. As the Subcontractor Liaison Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing the successful running and commercial control of each project, coordinating subcontractor usage, and ensuring accurate project management through budgeting and reporting.
The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of project lifecycle management, commercial acumen, and the ability to interpret design drawings. You will work closely with Operations & Commercial to ensure subcontractors are raised in line with demand and operational requirements. Additionally, you will develop and grow the IAC subcontract capability, working with subcontractors to understand their needs and monitoring market changes.
About the Role
- Develop and implement effective subcontract management strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with Operations & Commercial to ensure subcontractors are aligned with project requirements.
- Work with the Senior Quantity Surveyor(s) and Commercial Manager(s) to review and assess subcontract amended terms.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors to ensure their needs are met and market changes are monitored.
