Job Title: PCN Operations Manager - Business Development

About Us:

Bushloe Surgery is a leading healthcare provider seeking a highly skilled PCN Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our Primary Care Network (PCN).

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned professional to oversee the day-to-day operations of our PCN, ensuring the smooth delivery of our programs and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the PCN's governance structure, developing and implementing business plans, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management: Ensure effective operational administration and workflow processes to enable the smooth running of the PCN and Bushloe Surgery.
  • Performance Management: Produce performance and quality reports on the delivery of PCN schemes, including the Enhanced Access scheme.
  • Financial Management: Ensure that the PCN's financial resources are managed effectively, developing and implementing financial plans and reporting progress to the PCN Board.
  • Digital and Information Governance: Ensure compliance with the GDPR, Freedom of Information, and other relevant legislation and professional information management standards.
  • Quality Management: Work with PCN colleagues and Practice Managers to ensure adequate responses to complaints and learning events, maintaining a register and implementing learnings.
  • Relationship Management and Communications: Develop an effective communications strategy and ensure effective communication is maintained within the PCN and with commissioners and external stakeholders.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience: In a similar role, with a strong understanding of PCN operations and governance.
  • Excellent communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills: Ability to analyze data and develop business plans.
  • Leadership skills: Ability to lead and manage a team.
