Job Overview

Position: Sales Associate

Reporting To: Store Manager

Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience

Working Schedule: 5 days a week, including weekends, with a total of 37.5 hours weekly.

Cutler and Gross is on the lookout for passionate and skilled Sales Associates to join our dynamic team.

Established in 1969, Cutler and Gross has built a legacy in the eyewear industry, recognized for its commitment to exceptional design and craftsmanship. Our brand is synonymous with quality and style, catering to a discerning clientele that includes artists, celebrities, and influencers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist customers, ensuring a warm and memorable shopping experience.
  • Provide outstanding customer service consistently, whether in person, via phone, or through digital communication.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our product offerings to assist customers effectively.
  • Deliver accurate information regarding sales and customer service inquiries.
  • Exhibit professionalism in interactions with customers and team members.
  • Utilize client management systems for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
  • Process client orders and ensure accurate tracking of lens and frame requests.
  • Advise clients on necessary adjustments or repairs to eyewear.
  • Verify lens specifications upon delivery to ensure quality standards.
  • Handle stock deliveries and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Manage transactions securely and responsibly.
  • Keep the store environment clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Assist in inventory management and loss prevention efforts.
  • Support the overall operations of the store to achieve sales targets.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • A genuine enthusiasm for luxury eyewear and retail sales.
  • Strong ability to style eyewear to enhance customer appearance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and adaptable to new software.
  • Proven success in meeting sales goals and fostering customer relationships.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
