About the Role

As a Domestic Abuse Lead Housing Officer, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to clients at risk of homelessness due to domestic abuse. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement creative solutions to prevent and relieve homelessness, while ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and support to clients at risk of homelessness due to domestic abuse
  • Develop and implement creative solutions to prevent and relieve homelessness
  • Work closely with our team to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients
  • Interpret and apply relevant Homeless, Housing and Health legislation to ensure statutory duties are maintained
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record of working within a challenging frontline housing service or people with transferable skills, particularly in customer service settings
  • Excellent communication and case management skills
  • Ability to interpret and apply relevant Homeless, Housing and Health legislation
