Position Overview

Pharmaceutical Production Specialist - Technical Services Band 4/5 based on qualifications.

This is a full-time role, with the possibility of part-time arrangements.

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive technician to become a part of our established Technical Services team as a Pharmaceutical Production Specialist. Our MHRA licensed 'Specials' pharmacy manufacturing facility operates within a modern, purpose-built environment. The service includes aseptic preparation, chemotherapy, and pre-packaging (over-labeling and re-packaging products) for both internal and external clients. Our department is committed to continuously enhancing our services to provide patient-centered pharmaceutical care and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for preparing pharmaceutical products, including systemic anti-cancer treatments and intravenous nutrition. This role requires working in a controlled environment while adhering to safety protocols, including the use of protective clothing and footwear. The successful candidate will be expected to comprehend and follow standard operating procedures and demonstrate proficient manual dexterity. After completing in-house training, you will be involved in the in-process, pre-process, and final release of products.

To excel in this position, you will need to possess strong organizational, communication, and computer skills, along with a keen attention to detail. Collaboration with the existing team is essential for effective operations.
