Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Representative to join our team at Mitchell Maguire, a specialist Construction Recruitment Consultancy. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling plastic building products to general builders, commercial contractors, bathroom installers, roofing contractors, roofing installers, decking installers, plumbing merchants, builder merchants, UPVC stockist, housebuilders, and local authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Selling plastic building products such as fascias, guttering, cladding, decking, sills, drainage, roofing, insulation, windows, doors, and bathroom panels to a variety of clients
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients to increase sales and revenue
  • Working closely with the Area Manager and Sales Director to achieve sales targets and goals
  • Providing excellent customer service and support to clients
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments to increase sales and revenue

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in construction sales, preferably with a focus on plastic building products
  • Knowledge of the construction industry and its various sectors
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer literate and proficient in using sales software
  • Motivated and driven individual with a strong work ethic
