Role Overview
As part of our growth strategy, we are looking for a Vice President in Healthcare at Capgemini Invent, focusing specifically on NHS providers.
We seek your extensive sector knowledge to support our ambition of becoming the preferred Healthcare Consultancy partner. Our mission is to assist clients in delivering sustainable, innovative transformations that create significant impact.
You will be responsible for independently scoping and leading intricate programs for our clients, demonstrating a successful track record in business development and strong commercial insight. You will also contribute to internal initiatives and enhance our team's skills, experience, and capabilities. To further develop our Healthcare subsector, we aim to expand our presence in the provider space, offering numerous opportunities to positively influence the future of the sector. Working within a supportive team environment, you will confidently drive our business development efforts.
As a member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will serve as a mentor and role model for colleagues across the UK. Collaborating with fellow leaders, you will ensure excellence in delivering services to our diverse clientele in the central bodies and NHS provider space. Additionally, you will have the chance to work with colleagues from across the Capgemini Group to leverage our combined expertise for the benefit of our clients, often integrating our technical capabilities with deep sector knowledge in the Public Sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: You will possess a passion for and proven success in expanding a consulting business with NHS organizations, nurturing client relationships for enduring success.
- Sector Impact: You will enhance Capgemini's influence in the UK Healthcare sector, utilizing existing relationships and your network with NHS providers to generate substantial sales.
- Strategic Transformation: You will guide clients in realizing their strategic transformation goals through insightful leadership and exceptional delivery, staying informed on Public Sector trends and issues.

- Strong management consulting skills, coupled with determination and influencing capabilities.

- Experience in a major consulting firm or industry, with a consulting background.
- Proven success in a matrixed organization, gaining support from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
- Strong business development skills, generating significant consulting revenues.
- An extensive network within the NHS, particularly in the provider sector.
- A commitment to the Public Sector and a desire to create a positive societal impact.
- Experience in leading large-scale, complex transformation initiatives in the Public Sector.
- Comprehensive understanding of the sales lifecycle, from lead generation to contract finalization.
- Expertise in commercial and risk management, including legal and data protection considerations.
- Ability to lead towards outcomes using relevant methodologies and tools.
- Experience in proposition development and delivery.
