About the Role

Briggs and Forrester Group is a leading building services engineering company with a strong commitment to employee ownership and a reputation for delivering high-quality results. We are seeking a skilled Health and Safety Professional to join our dedicated HSE team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular site inspections and provide technical support to site management teams
  • Undertake targeted checks to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with industry standards
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Deliver in-house training to operatives and management teams
  • Support client HSE representatives and build strong relationships with site management and subcontractor teams

Requirements

  • UK-based construction experience with a strong understanding of health and safety regulations
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate and/or other relevant qualifications
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering results
  • Current and valid CSCS/ECS/JIB card, and other relevant certifications
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to travel
