Specialist Learning Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a specialist school for pupils with moderate to severe SEN needs. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of the broad and balanced curriculum, working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our pupils.
Key Responsibilities- Support the delivery of all subjects in the curriculum, working with teachers to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
- Assist with the supervision and care of pupils during lessons, breaks, and activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Provide additional support to pupils with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and participate fully in lessons.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to promote pupil engagement, motivation, and progress.
- Collaborate with other support staff to ensure a consistent and high-quality approach to supporting pupils with SEN.
- Relevant teaching assistant, childcare, or care experience (UK based)
