Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Academics Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Horley. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support to children with mild to severe learning difficulties in a Primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering the learning experience to students
  • Provide behaviour and pastoral support to students
  • Build robust and effective relationships with students
  • Develop practical approaches to meet the individual needs of students
  • Utilize excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Display a caring and compassionate attitude, with a strong listening ability
  • Work 1:1 and in small groups with students
  • Ensure the safeguarding of students
  • Attend staff meetings and complete relevant CPD
Requirements:
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS and/or overseas police check (where applicable)
