Job Title: LD and Autism Transformation Specialist

Essex County Council is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as an LD and Autism Transformation Specialist. This role is a key part of our Transforming Care Programme, which aims to improve health outcomes for individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist advice and expertise to health professionals and social workers on complex cases involving individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.
  • Work closely with colleagues to mitigate high levels of risk and ensure effective practice in complex situations.
  • Develop and implement preventative and integrated approaches to support individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism in the community.
  • Collaborate with health, social care, and education agencies to ensure a coordinated response to the needs of individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.
