As a Nurse Unit Manager with Exemplar Health Care, you will be responsible for leading a team of nursing and care professionals to deliver high-quality care and services to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Registered Nurses, Nurse Associates, and Health Care Assistants to ensure the delivery of exceptional care and services.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Oversee and manage all clinical elements and risks within the unit, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents and staff.
- Act as the Named Nurse for residents allocated to your unit, responsible for the oversight, review, and update of their care profiles.
- Supervise and manage the ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording, and disposal of medication within the unit.
Requirements:
- First-level nursing registration with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN.
- Post-registration and management or supervisory experience and/or training or qualifications.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills, with the ability to work confidently on your own initiative.
- A good standard of digital skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
