About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at Exemplar Health Care. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of nursing and care colleagues to deliver high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of nursing and care colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents.
  • Oversee and manage all clinical elements and risks within the unit.
  • Ensure that care plans and risk assessments are completed and reviewed in a timely manner.
  • Act as the Named Nurse for residents allocated to you, with responsibility for the oversight, review, and update of their care profiles.
  • Supervise and manage the ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording, and disposal of medication.

Requirements:

  • First-level nursing registration with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN.
  • Post-registration and management or supervisory experience and/or training or qualifications.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • A good standard of digital skills.
