Executive Assistant to Educational Leaders

Are you a skilled and professional Executive Assistant seeking a fulfilling role in a dynamic educational environment? Burton and South Derbyshire College is on the lookout for a committed and adaptable Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the Vice Principal and Assistant Principals in their daily functions. This position reports directly to the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently coordinate the calendars of the Vice Principal and Assistant Principals, arranging appointments, meetings, and travel logistics.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of business events, conferences, and other professional engagements.
  • Prepare and review various documents, reports, presentations, and take minutes during meetings.
  • Manage sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion.
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring excellent relationships.
  • Perform a variety of administrative tasks to support the seamless operation of the Executive team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior management.
  • A polished professional demeanor with outstanding interpersonal abilities.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and capable of prioritizing tasks efficiently.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • A commitment to integrity and the management of confidential information.
