Current Opportunities:
PWD Connect is actively seeking Qualified Teachers to engage with Secondary and Primary educational settings. Positions are available on a daily, short-term, and long-term basis.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement pre-prepared lessons across diverse subjects within the secondary education framework.
  • Assist students in their academic journey, providing support and motivation as they advance.
  • Oversee students during instructional periods, ensuring a secure and inclusive educational atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to design engaging and interactive learning experiences that address the varied needs of students.
  • Offer individualized or small group assistance to students requiring extra support in their studies.
  • Aid in the preparation of educational materials and resources, including classroom displays and teaching aids.
  • Adhere to institutional policies and procedures, fostering positive behavior and maintaining classroom discipline.
  • Engage in staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development activities as necessary.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, enhancing the sense of community within the educational environment.

Requirements:
  • Possession of a PGCE, TRN, or QTS qualification.
  • A sincere enthusiasm for education and a commitment to working with young individuals.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing demands of the educational setting.
  • Resilience and patience when engaging with students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
  • Dedication to ongoing learning and professional growth.

Desirable:
  • A valid UK driving license.
