Job Description

Axiom Technologies is a leading global IT services partner supporting medium to large-scale enterprises. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Desktop Support Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and accurate onsite/on-call assistance to end-users within the organization's desktop computing environment.
  • Coordinate and manage desktop support activities, including troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Build and install PCs, telephone systems, wireless networks, and peripheral devices related to desktop infrastructure.
  • Maintain installed PCs, networks, telephone systems, and peripherals with routine maintenance.
  • Identify, log, and resolve technical problems with software applications or network systems.
  • Collaborate with Technology team members to ensure efficient operation of the organization's desktop computing environment.
  • Administer and resolve issues with associated end-user workstation network software products.
  • Receive and respond to incoming calls, messages, and/or work orders regarding desktop problems.
  • Expertise in supporting network devices and servers in business environments.
  • Ensure that work is carried out within agreed service levels and in accordance with project guidelines.
  • Explain and document technical issues in a clear way to technical teams, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience in desktop support.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proven track record of working with technologies from Microsoft SCCM, VMWare Horizon, Intune, etc.
  • Hands-on experience in End-to-end Desktop/Laptop life cycle management.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
  • Strong customer service ethic and great communication skills, both oral and written.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PC/Laptop OEM Maintenance Certification.
  • CompTIA A+ Certification.
  • Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification in the desktop area.
  • Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification.
