We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible individual to join our Emergency Department team as a Support Worker. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a vital role in assisting with the nutrition and hydration needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to patients and staff in the Emergency Department, ensuring a high standard of compassionate care.
  • Assist with the arrangement of patient transfers, photocopying notes, and communicating with clinical teams.
  • Liaise with nursing and medical staff to update them on task completion and resolve issues preventing prompt patient transfer.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and colleagues, using alternative methods of communication as needed.
  • Participate in discussions about patient flow and departmental issues at handover and meetings.
