Healthcare Support Worker

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at the Community Rehabilitation Unit based at St. Mary's Hospital on the Isle of Wight.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting registered nursing staff and therapists in the provision of clinical care to patients within the nurse-led unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain patient comfort, dignity, and privacy at all times.
- Prepare patients' drinks, serve meals, and provide assistance as required.
- Assist in emergency resuscitation of patients, following appropriate training.
- Escort patients to other areas and departments as per Trust escort protocol.
- Maintain high standards of care in an environment that promotes equality and sensitivity for all individuals.
