About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team at Priory Group. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist service users with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and using the toilet.
  • Support service users with mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including incontinence.
  • Care for service users who are temporarily sick and require help with feeding and other daily tasks.
  • Encourage service users to participate in mental and physical activities, such as reading, writing, and hobbies.
  • Perform light cleaning tasks, such as making beds and tidying rooms.
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving, as well as washing up and clearing dining areas.
  • Participate in service user meetings and training activities as directed.
  • Report any significant changes in service user health or circumstances to the nurse in charge.
  • Encourage service user independence at all times.

Requirements

  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including days and nights.
