Key Responsibilities

Our goal is to expand our Wellbeing services nationally, and you will play a crucial role in collaborating with Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) to develop preventative psychological support models and services for those seeking private assistance.

We are in search of an inspiring leader for our Wellbeing Team, including our IAPT Leads, ensuring adherence to our people management policies and procedures. Experience in advising and communicating clinical information to non-clinical managers is essential.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert psychological oversight for therapies offered through our Wellbeing Services.
  • Creating innovative models for wellbeing interventions.
  • Clinically supervising and managing practitioners within our Wellbeing Services and Student Counsellors.
  • Contributing to audits, research, policy development, and service enhancements within our Wellbeing Services.
  • Designing and delivering training in psychological therapies for staff in our rehabilitation services.
  • Collaborating with the Associate Director of Development and Social Value to expand our wellbeing services across our operational areas.

Travel throughout the operational area will be required.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess a professional qualification, such as a Registered Nurse Band 8a or higher, or a recognized qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Experience in leading clinical responses to senior leaders and external commissioners is crucial for this position. Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary.
