Job Title: Automotive Mechanic GSE Specialist

Location: UPS East Midlands Airport

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic GSE Specialist to join our team at UPS East Midlands Airport. As a GSE Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a large fleet of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) to ensure the smooth operation of our airport operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertly handle a variety of repairs and maintenance work on a large GSE fleet
  • Carry out regular maintenance inspections, complete online records and stock control
  • Work as part of a team with a focus on quality to achieve reliability and maintenance targets

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Mechanics
  • A background in airport Ground Support equipment
  • Initiative, planning skills and a flexible, enthusiastic approach
  • Full UK driving licence
  • A C1, 7.5 tonne licence would be an advantage, though isn't essential
