Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled GSE Mechanic to join our team at UPS East Midlands Airport. As a GSE Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of Ground Support Equipment, ensuring our fleet is in top condition to support our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on GSE equipment, including non-powered equipment, aircraft deck-loaders, cargo tractors, and GPUs
- Conduct regular inspections and complete online records and stock control
- Work collaboratively with a team to achieve reliability and maintenance targets
- Develop and expand your skills in a dynamic and diverse work environment

- A signing-on bonus of £1,000 (£500 upon commencing employment & £500 after month 6)

Requirements
- City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Mechanics
- Background in airport Ground Support equipment
- Initiative, planning skills, and a flexible, enthusiastic approach
- Full UK driving licence
- C1, 7.5 tonne licence an advantage, though not essential
