About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic GSE to join our team at UPS East Midlands Airport. As a GSE Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our Ground Support Equipment fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expertly handle a variety of repairs and maintenance work on a large GSE fleet
- Carry out regular maintenance inspections, complete online records and stock control
- Work as part of a team with a focus on quality to achieve reliability and maintenance targets
Requirements:
- City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Mechanics
- A background in airport Ground Support equipment
- Initiative, planning skills and a flexible, enthusiastic approach
- Full UK driving licence
- A C1, 7.5 tonne licence would be an advantage, though isn't essential

- We'll pay you between £19.36 per hour, depending on your experience, plus shift premiums* and location allowance*
- Successful candidates will receive a signing-on bonus of £1,000 (£500 upon commencing employment & £500 after month 6)
