Removals Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Removals Operations Manager to join our team at Red Recruit. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for managing our drivers and porters, ensuring the efficient operation of our vehicles and crews, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the operations department, including drivers, porters, and vehicles, to ensure smooth and efficient removals operations.
- Liaise directly with customers to understand their individual requirements and ensure their removals needs are met.
- Manage the allocation of vehicles and crews to individual customer jobs, ensuring sufficient manpower and resources are available.
- Oversee the removal diary, ensuring all jobs are completed on time and to the highest standard.
- Liaise with parking suspension at the council to ensure smooth transitions for each unloading and loading of job.
- Manage the daily accounts for customers, ensuring accurate and timely billing.
- Manage the operational paperwork for all storage jobs and direct removal jobs, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Perform general administration duties as required, including maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Proven experience working in a managerial role within the removals and relocations industry.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, drivers, and porters.
- Knowledge of removals processes, fleet maintenance, and transportation regulations.
- Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
