Job Title: Operations Manager - Removals and Relocations

Job Summary:

Red Recruit is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Removals and Relocations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our removals business, ensuring the smooth execution of removals and storage services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Operations Department: Oversee the efficient operation of our vehicles, drivers, and porters, ensuring timely and safe delivery of removals services.
  • Liaise with Customers: Communicate directly with customers to understand their removal requirements, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Manage Removal Diaries: Coordinate the allocation of vehicles and crews to individual customer removals, ensuring sufficient manpower and resources are available.
  • Manage Daily Accounts: Process and manage customer accounts for individual moves, ensuring accurate and timely billing.
  • General Administration: Perform general administrative duties as required, including managing operational paperwork and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a managerial role within the removals and relocations industry.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Knowledge: Good knowledge of removals processes, fleet maintenance, and transportation regulations.

What We Offer:

Red Recruit offers a competitive salary of up to £38,000, depending on experience, and a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
