About The Role

A new leadership position in our Technology department, the Head of Data and Analytics is responsible for setting and driving the data strategy and fostering a culture of data excellence across Motability Operations. The roleholder will have the opportunity to shape and grow the data function both within Technology and across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, execute and champion a comprehensive data strategy aligned with Motability Operations' objectives and technology strategy.
  • Establish and maintain a data governance and ownership framework, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and promoting data quality and integrity across the organisation.
  • Ensure that Motability Operations has access to cutting-edge data analytics capabilities, including the platforms, tools and resources required to analyse and generate insights from complex data sets.
  • Assess, implement, and manage data tools, software, and infrastructure to support the company's data requirements.
  • Work in collaboration with Security & Legal to ensure all data handling processes adhere to industry best practices and legal requirements.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for data and analytics initiatives, monitoring progress and success metrics regularly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering product development, data scientists across Motability Operations.
About You

We are looking for a senior leader with a proven track record of experience in data analytics, strong leadership skills, and a passion for innovation. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in data management, data modelling, statistical analysis, and data visualisation techniques, as well as a strong understanding of data privacy laws and regulations.
